Tested with National Geographic Genographic Project (NGGP) GENO 2.0

If you have already Y-DNA tested at the National Geographic Genographic Project (NGGP) GENO 2.0 you can transfer yourself, your results and your retained sample to Family Tree DNA (FTDNA), who are also the testing partner for NGGP.

1. Go to the Family Tree DNA introduction (Home) page.
2. Scroll down to " National Geographic Genographic Project Transfers".
3. Click on "Transfer Now" which will take you to the NGGP where you can enter your unique Kit Number and follow the instructions to get your data transferred into FTDNA.

Alternatively:

1. Go to your National Geographic Genographic Project page and Log-in using your kit number.
2. Find your way to your "Results" page.
3. In the column on the right hand side is "Family Tree DNA Analysis".  Click on "Transfer Your Results"
4. Click on "Continue to FTDNA" and follow the instructions to transfer across your Y-DNA results.

Once you have been transferred into Family Tree DNA, you will be given access to your FTDNA personal page to manage your results.

I found the NGGP GENO 2.0 website functioning a little "flaky" when logging-on. If you have any problems, you can call or email FTDNA and ask them to transfer you into the project.  They can be reached at (713) 868-1438 or contacted via FTDNA.
